About Us
Movement for Education and Empowerment for Masses was initiated in 2013 when a group of Facebook friends came together with the intention of giving back to society.
They were inspired by the thought and philosophy to establish peace and harmony in the world. At MEEM, we envision the enlistment of society by empowering weaker sections with Education, Employment and Social Justice.
MEEM is a national-level development organization directly benefiting over 1000+ children and more than 2 lacks people so far, through 10 welfare initiatives on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, in over 42 remote villages and slums across 9 states (Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar, Kerala, Punjab, Asam, Jharkhand) of India.
There are 2000 members associated with MEEM in different states of India.
Quality of education and Life with Dignity for all. We envision the enlistment of the society by empowering, weaker sections with Education, Employment and Social Justice. MEEM, through its ‘Vocational Training Centers’ initiative, has been helping Girls and build their capacity through skill enhancement in tandem with market requirements providing training in basic computer use, spoken English, Tailoring, Beauty Parlor, and basics of written communication as well.
At present, we have directly benefited to 850 girls and boys in 3 states of India. Poverty Can’t Defeat Education Keeping this in mind, MEEM, adopted Madarasa in Panipat district of Haryana, Ghaziabad and Bijnour districts in UP state where we started academic session till 5 th class by enrolling different subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge along with Religious Education (Dini Taleem).
Not only this, we also support children by distributing stationery materials. By this, we are hoping to create an Educational Model in religious schools which provides a Student- centred learning environment along with Dini Taleem that brings out the full potential of children. Regular Groups meeting held in our working areas to make parents aware and encourage about the importance of Child Education and facilitated them with EWS quota and various govt. schemes as well
